Project Details
The new Cummins headquarters revitalized a 190,000-square-foot facility through a master circulation strategy anchored by dramatic new entries, expansive glazing, and a sculptural central gathering space. The main circulation spine, flooded with natural light from an overhead skylight, features an open stair and gallery walls displaying art and product imagery, creating an engaging way-finding experience while providing informal seating and meeting alcoves throughout.
The design strategically scatters small 'enclave' rooms and conference spaces across the building, maintaining flexibility and open office space while ensuring access to focused work areas. A complete redesign of the cafeteria and servery acts as a social hub, complemented by a specialized lab component supporting Cummins' technical work. Remarkably, the project was designed, constructed, and partially occupied in less than 12 months, demonstrating our ability to deliver complex facilities on aggressive timelines without compromising quality or functionality.
