Project Details
The new City of Woodbury Public Works & Parks facility reimagines the city’s municipal operations as an integrated campus designed to support a growing community. The project consolidates multiple division streets, utilities, stormwater, and parks. The 125,575-square-foot complex includes fuel islands, fleet maintenance, warm and cold vehicle storage, wash bays, an equipment yard, and administrative spaces. The design strategy emerged from extensive engagement with city staff, aligning long-term service needs with efficient spatial organization.
Exposed structural systems, durable finishes, and high-bay service areas reflect the building’s working character while providing long-term flexibility and ease of maintenance. Expanded warm vehicle storage allows the majority of equipment to be housed indoors, improving vehicle longevity, safety, and winter operations.
A remodel of the entry lobby and service window improves accessibility and communication with the public, while open work zones promote cross-departmental collaboration. Across Tower Drive, a new fleet maintenance building and expanded indoor storage reduce operational inefficiencies and extend equipment longevity.
