The Peder Pederson Pavilion anchors a comprehensive park redevelopment in Hugo, establishing a flexible civic gathering destination designed for seamless indoor-outdoor use across all seasons. Our design creates three expansive covered patios extending programmed activity into the surrounding landscape, a generous community hall with adjacent meeting room, and a thoughtfully designed servery accommodating both interior and exterior service operations.

The pavilion's form and orientation maximize functional flexibility while strengthening its role as a true community center—equally suited to civic events, recreational programming, and everyday neighborhood gatherings. Durable materials and year-round shelter ensure the facility serves residents throughout Minnesota's variable climate. the pavilion demonstrates our commitment to designing public spaces that become essential to community life through responsive design grounded in local needs and aspirations.
